Hi! My name is Laurie Lope, and I am dedicated to helping
students from Pre-K to 8th grade achieve academic success and
boost confidence. I've been a teacher since 1996. I bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and compassion
to each and every session and child.
My tutoring services cover a wide range of
subjects, test prep for STAAR and TELPAS, and confidence builders.
I understand that every student has unique learning needs,
which is why I provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring sessions
that are tailored to the individual student's strengths and
weaknesses. As a certified ESL instructor, I have extensive experience
working with non-native English speakers. I can help your child
improve their English language proficiency.

Where do you conduct your tutoring sessions?
I tutor in my home in Wylie in Wooded Creek Estates.
How much do you charge for your sessions?
Starting October 1, 2024 individualized tutoring is $45 for each fifty-five minute tutoring session.
What is your current availability?
My sessions are held Monday-Thursdays starting at 8 a.m., with the last session starting at 7 p.m. Please fill out the Google Form below and we can chat about specific
days and times that work for both of us.
Do you provide all of the materials?
Yes, I do. I create a lesson designed for your child’s needs. If you have homework or specific assignments provided from school, I am happy to cover that in the session.

Summer Sessions
Based on interest, there may be some special summer sessions tailored to the students’ needs such as a Multiplication camp, Comprehension camp, Addition and Subtraction Camp, and Fluency Camp. These sessions would last 2 hours per day one day per week for 3 weeks. These would be group classes of 2-4 students. These would be held in addition to regular tutoring. Pricing will depend on interest and will begin in June.
